Okay - so I am breaking blog protocol and posting out of order to announce the arrival of our niece, Sage Elizabeth Amend, born to my sister Clare, Josh and big brother Jacob on January 19th, 2009. Sage was born at 6.11oz and 19 inches and is perfect in every way and I believe has everyone wrapped around her little finger. Photos are of Clare the night before, Sage's birth day, day 2, one week, February 1 (yes, she is already a Steeler fan) and February 8th. We cannot wait to see and hold her! Clare will come up with Sage with our Mom & Dad (aka Granny and Granddad) on the 26th so we're very excited. Our congratulations to my sister and Josh on their daughter - Sage is so very loved and her cousin Indigo is excited to meet the "tiny baby" as she calls her. She tells us that when she was born in China that she was tiny, tiny. However, right now, Indigo is more interested in whether Jacob is coming to play with her - she loves her big boy cousin.
