"An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break." - An ancient Chinese proverb.

The stork has landed! Waiting for the call!
At 1:18 p.m. David got an e-mail from GWCA saying that the stork had landed and that if we were getting that e-mail it means our referral has arrived. I was at the Patent & Trademark Office for an event but David came to get me at 3 p.m. We are now sitting here at the computer with the phone eagerly waiting for THE CALL!

THE OSHRY FAMILY IN SOUTH AFRICA WISH YOU YEARS AND YEARS OF HAPPINESS WITH "WEN". A CHOSEN CHILD IS VERY SPECIAL. MUCH LOVE
We are Melanie & David and have been married 17 years. On July 1, 2007 we adopted our amazing and precious daughter Indigo in Jiangxi province. On February 1, 2010 we returned to China and adopted our son Isaac from Jiangsu province.
You first come to us in an envelope with letters, forms and such. Just tiny little pictures with nothing warm to touch. You grew in our imagination, in our hearts, and in our minds. You brought us greater joy than we ever thought we'd find. A phone call started labor pains which lasted 'til we met. Strangers brought together a day we won't forget. You bloomed as you were planned in our hearts, our lives, our home. Our child of chance, of plan, of will, you're now our very own. Author unknown.
Waiting by Karen Cooper
I haven't met you yet or seen your face, but in my heart you hold a place. My hopes grow with each passing day, even though you're miles away. I know you're there waiting for me, as I am here waiting to see, the child God has sent from above, to make me a mother and share all my love.
